Take aways:

You can’t alter what your genes are but you can alter how they are expressed. And one way to do it is through food. Food will affect wellness and longevity at the level of the cell and DNA expression. And it’s not only what your pet eats, but also, what their parents ate. You can turn bad genes off and good genes on by feeding fresh foods.

Cell danger response (CDR) is a natural immunity and healing response triggered by the environment and regulated by the mitochondria of the cells. Chemicals and stress can lead to chronic CDR activation and incomplete healing. This can lead to illness, reduced quality of life and speed up aging.

  • Supports brain function,
  • maintains healthy GI system and poop consistency,
  • maintains healthy skin & coat,

Why to avoid ultra processed foods:

  • it’s pro-inflamatory,
  • shortens DNA telomeres and increases cell aging,
  • damages the gut microbiome,
