Wart on Toe

Hey there,

I’m seeking help for my 5 year old Australian Shepherd, Bella. She is fixed. Weighs around 35 lbs last she was checked but I have had her on a diet since then so she has no doubt lost weight. All of her BEAM is normal I would say, perhaps a bit melancholy at times —she gives sad puppy eyes when we have to leave her home to go somewhere. She did receive vaccinations with her previous owners but I will not be giving her anymore. No meds. She eats a raw diet and simple, whole foods, occasionally some dry food —Taste of the Wild.

She has a wart on her toe growing out of the nail bed. She had it before, it was biopsied and found to be a papilloma and then surgically removed. It came back within a year and now they want to remove the entire toe which I do not want to do. I have been trying to treat it holistically at home but it only seems to be getting bigger. She has no other health concerns. She eats and plays normally.

The following are the types of things I have tried:

1) Thuja
2) Growth Away Spray
3) Oil of Oregano in Castor Oil
4) Just Castor Oil
5) Silver Honey
6) Astragalus tincture
7) I am currently attempting Epsom Salt baths for the paw and Lugol’s Iodine (2% though I have 5% on the way)

Supplements I am giving her are:
1) PBX and/or PB Zeolite occasionally
2) Half a Garlic clove a day
3) Colloidal Silver occasionally
4) Cilantro tincture rarely
5) Blended Parsley in her raw food

I have reason to believe she contracted this from another dog or that it is an overload of toxins in the body due to vaccinations. I would be grateful for some guidance. How can I detox her apart from zeolite, parsley, and cilantro? What protocol from the list above should I stick with or what else is there I can do? Is this a situation where it must get worse before it gets better?

Thank you!

Welcome to HA!

And thanks for making your first post about Bella.

Yes, treating whole-istically is definitely the way too go. Tho dogs typically do fine with having a toe amputated.

As a vet focused on helping people learn to nurture the body's ability to heal, I applaud you for working to preserve her cellular vitality and cellular energy!

Any stressor, such as drugs, surgery, toxins, etc. is best to minimize and avoid altogether when possible.

Wow, fantastic and important question!!

AW's Heavy Metal Detox smoothie and my wild blueberry and organic smoothie both help support the body during its' natural detox process. I also use Fiber Detox in my practice:

And the deepest detox occurs when all of the energettc systems of the body are in balance.

IMHO, the deepest-acting protocol that will help activate her mitochondria and energetic balance and detox is:

Is this a situation where it must get worse before it gets better?
Not typically.

Perhaps also apply Pau D'Arco drops onto the wart 3x/day:
