She had chest x-rays today. Her heart murmur was previously a 4/6 now 5/6.
She is coughing a bit. But pekingese sometimes cough for attention so it's not easy to detect.
I gave her 1/4 Trazadone (50 mg) last night and another 1/4 this morning because she is nervous in cars.
In the morning she had settled and her breathing is now 48/min
And her breathing rate was 140 breath/min when I counted but was more when I took her outside for 5 min. I carried her back.
The dr contacted her cardio and gave her Pimobendan 1.25 mg every 12 hours. X-ray and lab results were sent to dr. Jeff.
The cardiologist said they will contact me to make an appointment.
She is currently on Lachesis 6 C when coughing or limping and I dosed her yesterday with 20 succ.

Welcome to HA! Michele. Thanks for making your first post.

I'm sorry to hear about Leiha's health challenges. :(

Did she respond to yesterday's dose of Lach?

I'm so glad that her 140bpm calmed down with the Trazodone. She looked pretty depressed and anxious in the video you sent me. Would you be willing to share it here so others can see?

I was super happy to read the radiologist's report which didn't show fluid in the lungs!

She woke up at 4 coughing. I gave her another 1/4 Traz and some coconut oil. I got up this morning and gave her the Pimobendan.
Should I give her more Lachesis?

I forgot to mention I started to notice a thrill when I picked her up after I returned from my trip.
I wondered if she missed me too much

I didn't notice any change after Lachesis until the next morning (Mon)... and 2 doses of Trazadone

Do you have the Lach 30c?

Here are the drs notes from yesterday:
Notes
Appointment reason: Chest rads
Pink, moist < 2 sec
Increased RR with short breaths
Palpable thrill with handling and ascultation with no crackles asculted and 5/6 murmur present (new was 4/6 March)
Soft Non painful abdomen

Radiographs:
Conclusion
1. Moderate left-sided cardiomegaly
–- differential diagnosis includes myxomatous mitral and tricuspid valve disease, cardiomyopathy (e.g. dilated cardiomyopathy), with or without concurrent pulmonary hypertension.
2. Mild to moderate mixed bronchointerstitial pattern/peribronchial cuffing
– Differential diagnosis includes mild early cardiogenic pulmonary edema with or without arterial transudation, less likely acute bronchitis and bronchial wall edema, or artifact associated with expiratory phase atelectasis and axial obliquity.
3. Hepatomegaly
–Differential diagnosis include vacuolar hepatopathy (diabetes mellitus, hyperadrenocorticism, hepatic lipidosis), acute hepatitis (immune mediated or infectious) or neoplasia (e.g. lymphoma).
4. Probable right glenohumeral subluxation and osteoarthrosis.
5. Multifocal degenerative intervertebral disc disease and ventral spondylosis, lumbar spine
Recommendations
1. Echocardiography for further evaluation of cardiac structure and function.
2. Repeat three view thoracic radiography, centered on the cardiac silhouette, obtained on full inspiration, with avoidance of axial obliquity and optimization of radiographic technique, in 24 to 48 hours, or sooner, if response to appropriate medical therapy is suboptimal or the patient develops signs of dyspnea.
3. Complete diagnostic abdominal ultrasonography.
