Yes! Or even an on faucet Brita filter (which is what I just used this am), or any filtered/bottled water.Do you start with that type of water?

@GinnyW @Dr. Jeff thank you both. For now still making SW from chia seeds. Considering the vitalizer.Yes; I have a whole-house filter for all faucets, including outdoor hose bibs which water the yards and fill the hot tub. The filter is a large sand-filled canister with a pre-filter unit. I have changed out the prefilter several times over the 18 years I have been here, and have not once ever found any particulate matter or even discoloration in the filter medium. We are not in a town with large utilities, but obtain water from relatively local sources which fill a water tower, which is owned and maintained by a larger company some 100 miles away. So, local control, and water that is not over-manipulated.
I do believe we all need to use clean, unfluoridated, minimally treated water - and, oh yes, the houseplants thrive on the structured water as well.
@Dr. Jeff Actually it's going fine! I think I have adjusted to that process, it's just that I am making one cup at a time and concerned it will "turn". I just dumped 1/4 cup of my last batch into my own drinking glass for the 1st time. Making another one cup batch as we speak. This time trying 2 tsp ground chia seeds to one cup of filtered water. I usually pour a small amount onto their meals. If I pour it into their water dish which I wash every day, will it be OK at room temperature? I guess not knowing any precautions besides like you mentioned previously not letting it sit out for over 12 hours, makes me not know how much to make and how long its shelf like is. It certainly is more budget friendly and I truly know the source (org chia seeds) as opposed to a machine with filters made of this or that.Is the chia water process now working for you?
When you strain out any chia seeds residue then yes.If I pour it into their water dish which I wash every day, will it be OK at room temperature?
