I am not an advocate for antibiotics for myself or my animal.
My dog is 9 years old and this is the second time that I have used antibiotics In her life.
She is twice had issues with an abscess and now perianal adenoma..in the same area.
Although I didn't want to give her the prescribed antibiotics , I did because there was a lot of blood coming out of her bottom, and tissue in one case.
There aren't any holistic Vets near me and of course, this was the recommendation.
I have saccharalomyces boullardii at home that I have taken. Can I give her this? What are your recommendations?
She has less energy.
Have you ever heard of someone doing Reiki and shrinking the adenoma?
Thank you
Jill

Can I give her this?
Yes! S. boulardis probiotic during anti-biotic use is perfect. Then we she is off the anti-biotics rotate to The Wolf, then Fido's Flora (both from Adored Beast).
She has less energy.
Have you ever heard of someone doing Reiki and shrinking the adenoma?
Yes. An even more commonly when Reiki is combined with pure homeopathy.

@Dr. Jeff, We purchased Floraphage I believe this was the supplement you recommended as a prebiotic? We are wondering the dose for 9.6 pd dog? They are capsules and it says noting about animal dosages. Thank you!

I use 1/2 cap/day for small dogs and cats.

@Dr. Jean Hofve @Dr. Jean Hofve I am going to jump on the probiotic train here in regards to my cat Bella. I had a holistic vet come to my house to give Bella acupuncture, red light therapy and use a tuning fork on her chakras I believe it was, at least that was the trail up her back to her 3rd eye, for the 1st time (the tuning forks that is). The dr and I discussed her blood work and Bella's on and off issues with vomiting, thinking maybe IBD was at play possibly besides her kidneys which I have posted about before (kidneys). She recommended digestive enzymes and probiotics, specifically Vetriscience Acetylator. I am currently using Wysong PDG which its ingredients are:

Enzymatic Digest of Poultry Meat and Organs, Dried Egg, Hydrolyzed Coconut Oil, Dried Aspergillus Niger Fermentation Product, Dried Aspergillus Oryzae Fermentation Product, Dried Cottage Cheese, Dried Animal Plasma, Composted Sea Vegetation, L-Arginine, Carrot Powder, Garlic, Psyllium, Amylase, Protease, Lipase, Cellulase, Sage Extract, Rosemary Extract, Dried Enterococcus Faecium Fermentation Product, Dried Bacillus Subtilis Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus Acidophilus Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus Bifidus Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus Bulgaricus Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus Plantarum Fermentation Product, Milk Protein Extracts, Vitamin E Supplement.

The Vetriscience ingredient list is:

Active Ingredients: (Per Capsule) N-Acetyl Glucosamine (Shrimp and Crab), Proprietary Blend (Microencapsulated Lactobacillus acidophilus (Non-Dairy), Bromelain, Papain, Pepsin).
Inactive Ingredients: Fructooligosaccharides (Fos), Hypromellose, Gellan Gum, Maltodextrin.

Do either of you have a preference or suggestion?

Have you used Azodyl, AminAvast and Felix's Flora?
