5. What's their BEAM (behavior in, energy, appetite, mood) : calm, perky, no appetite, happy
6. Diet : Farmers Dog mixed with Nutro Senior Small Breed - recently transitioned from Badlands Ranch as she stopped eating it and has lost 6 pounds since her last vet appointment
7. Vaccination history / exposure to toxins, other medication : she had her Rabies vaccine administered a year ago
8. Primary problem, when it began and if there was anything else happening around that time : she started urinating in house - which she’s never done before - about 4 days ago - thought it was just an accident - but she did it again the next day , only once, and the following morning. She is also drinking lots of water. Nothing out of the norm happening at home - same routine each day.
9. Is the condition better or worse from exercise, heat, cold, time of day, certain foods, emotional upset, being touched, excitement, etc?
10. Has any diagnostic work been done? Diagnosis if available (you can attach your diagnostic tests to the post if you have them.) : the vet, Dr. Riley, ran a blood panel and a urinalysis. Waiting for hard copy of results. She said she has high calcium and found crystals in her urine. She mentioned it could be a tumor in her body or thyroid. She recommend a full calcium blood panel, X-rays and an ultrasound as well as putting her on Prednislone and stopping the Carprovet. She also said, once results come back from further blood tests - will know if tumor exists which may result in either chemo treatment or possibly surgery.
11. Current and previous treatment. : prescribed an Amoxicillin for possible UTI treatment, Carprovet and Mirtazapine for appetite stimulation.
12. Other health concerns : she is limping on her back right leg - which the doctor attributes to arthritis. She also lost her hearing this past year.
