Hi Hive,

I'm going to start to slowly introduce raw meats to my pup. She's had allergies to many proteins so we are introducing some raw proteins. I was going to look into beef hearts. She does best with fish or pork. Any other cuts you might recommend that I can get from the butcher would be wonderful! Thanks so much!

Generally, anything raw will be vastly easier to digest and less prone to cause reactions, since "allergies" are usually a reaction to tough, nasty, cooked proteins. Hearts are great, as is liver, but any muscle meat will be fine. Variety will be a key factor, so experiment with small amounts and rotate fairly often. Fish and pork should be fine, though. Perhaps look into a nice digestive enzyme support - there must be some listed here somewhere:) Don't change too quickly, unless there is a really violent reaction to one item. But you can't do any harm varying over time. If you can get fresh/frozen tripe, try it - it's full of nutrients and is extremely appealing to them.
Try to keep your mood calm and positive when you feed; they can pick up on the smallest bit of anxiety. Don't hover:)

Here are some good ones:

And we spoke that when the vital force is balanced, "allergic" symptoms resolve even when feeding or exposing to the "allergen". Also, feeding fresh meats often seems to be less of a trigger than processed.

Agree that raw proteins are far less likely to trigger allergies. It's the denaturing (distortion) of proteins due to heat processing that can underlie many allergies.

I personally don't recommend raw fish, though, since all kinds of fish and seafood can carry an array of parasites. I quit eating my favorite sushi due to that concern, but it was a hard decision. :(
