Hi @Dr. Jeff @Dr. Christina @Dr. Jean Hofve. I have been in recent contact with my homeopathic vet about Bella having an up-tick in episodes of vomiting. Sometimes it is with hair balls or fur, sometimes it is not, sometimes it is clear with loose fur, sometimes it is undigested food, and it is almost every day. I am keeping a record. Sometimes it is multiples times on the carpet in one episode. She is also grooming herself a lot, Dr Judy and I have spoke about this and I have been trying to brush her a little more. But what is strange is there is a return of some off-behavior that is not new. Bella appearing agitated after her vomiting and attempting to chew on an electrical cord (i.e. lamp) while aware I am in the same room as her. I scold her for her own safety and have, of course, blocked certain areas at times when she goes to do this. It has happened twice in the last 7 days. As far as her diet, I had converted the cats over to Viva food that gets delivered to our home a couple of months ago, per Dr. Jeff's recommendation of a high-quality raw food, rather than the Primal brand I had been using. Bella and her sister appear to love it. I also have tried giving her more smaller portion sizes than she used to get just because she has always "inhaled" her food quickly, and this seems to help to an extent. Many times the vomiting is because of eating too fast, especially after I have been in the office all day and no longer have my beloved Paul to feed her in the middle of the day. We have talked about these lifestyle changes before, and you all have encouraged me along the way, reminding me that my cats chose me and to remember I am doing the best I can. Lastly, I have noticed, she had always been on Standard Process Rena Food for a year or two now, but lately, when I mix a little of her raw food with the crushed tablet, she is usually vomiting that up too. My friend thought maybe she is deficient in a nutrient or allergic to the food, and maybe hold off on the rena food (I still have Aventi kidney so I will try that tomorrow, I usually give her both in her meal once a day, but...I have been rotating her raw foods with Via from turkey, to beef, to rabbit, to duck. I am about to have more kitchen work done this week around my job, i.e. counter top being replaced, and I'd hate to add to her stress by bringing her to the vet for blood work. I have thought of contacting my animal communicator. Also thinking I'll email Dr Judy with an update again. I have a follow up with her in 3 weeks. Thanks, and have a nice rest of your day!
