@Dr. Jeff and @Dr. Christina, Why are the four legged friends not as affected? Are you going out now with Maya? Would you say today is any better? It's still moderately poor here in upstate NY.

Wondering if those of us experiencing poor air quality due to the fires in Canada (many prayers to all affected, including the animals) should refrain from walking our furry friends. I have kept Cooper in for two days now.

@GinnyW @Dr. Jeff I used to give chicken thighs/legs to our previous dog three times a week. Then she aquired an allergty to them. Is it that it was too many times a week? Is it ok to give Coooper thighs/legs? @Dr. Jeff, what do you give Maya?

@Dr. Jeff Is the Bully Stick holder only for small pieces of bone? I am looking at the pic but it's got a braided bone of sorts...

@GinnyW I appreciate your insights. It is messy business though isn't it? And I wonder if having the raw bone get on his paws, rugs, etc, is safe for us..? We keep him on a towel but it's not perfect.

@GinnyW Thanks so much for your help here! It is a leg bone I think. It has lots of marrow which I've been scraping out bc he vomits when having too much. He's scraping his teeth against it trying to get whatever he can off, I believe. It really keeps him occupied, but it doesn't have much...

@Dr. Jeff @GinnyW Is it okay to give him the beef bone to gnaw on, or is that a possible tooth chipper? He seems to enjoy the activity as apposed to just lying around.

Thank you Ginny! Our pup is not eating raw too much. He doesn't seem to go for it. We'll try to eliminate the veggies on the next batch and see if that changes per @Dr. Jeff. He does love the bones we have been giving him but they are too big according to all the info we've gotten. Thanks again.
