Cat Teeth

Hi . My cat had the 6 teeth removed on April 16th. He hasn't been himself ever since.
And yesterday I could see he was in pain.
Today I discovered a hard lump under his chin on the left side of his mouth.
I got an appointment with the vet today, and the vet examined him, and could see that he had got an infection / inflammation, in the area on the left side where some of the teeth had been removed from. We've got this antibiotic I'm going to give him for 10 days.
And the vet said I should give painkillers, Loxicom, also for 10 days.. I would rather avoid using loxicom.
I have Arnica 10m and Hypericum 30ch at home. Can I use any of it, instead of loxicom? And is there anything else I can do for my cat now?
And a question about supplementation, I give him propolis and vitamin c (the Medical Medium recommends for dental problems) should I continue with it while I now give antibiotics?

I have give my cat today , the first dosage, as the vet told me.
I was just thinking , about the antibiotic the vet did gave me , could i instead of that , give goldenseal instead ?
Im asking because i did read this , i know its for humans , but could it be used on my cat also?

Yes!
One approach is to make up a cup (1 pellet in one cup bottled/filtered water) of Arnica 10M.
And dose 10/Q-tip every four hours for up to 4 doses.
10/Q-tip refers to the dose from the cup of Arnica.
10 "succussions" (like whacks to the bottom of the cup). Dip a cotton ((Q-tip) swab oin the water then touch it to his gums.
Since energetic homeopathic mediines do no interact with physiological drugs, they can be used together.
These doses are Quantum doses.
You're wonderfully getting the best of both worlds by doing what you're doing.
While avoiding possible toxicity from Loxicam.

The big knot / swelling my cat has, the vet said that maybe it could be an abscess that pops. If it pops and inflammation comes out, the vet said that I should clean the area with chlorhexidine.
Is there anything else I can use to clean the area with? So I can buy it and have it at home, if that should happen.

That antibiotics the vet gave me was, Solucin Vet 25 mg/ml
The vet said I should give him 1.9 ml every day for 10 days.
Now I’m wondering if I should give it to him for all 10 days? Maybe the antibiotics are too harsh for him. He’s 14 years old.
I started giving it to him yesterday, and today he’s a little better , dont look in so much pain like he did yesterday. And he seems to have a little more energy .

Hydrogen peroxide works super well for the pussy abscess discharge. And it is readily available and kills germs.
It sounds like he is doing better with the clindamycin antibiotic that your vet gave for the post-dental period.
Yes , but is it necessary to give it in 10 days?

Yes. A post-dental abscess may involve bone, which is harder for antibiotics to get to because it doesn't have a great blood supply. This is one location I would not mess with.

I have a question about what’s happened recently—my cat, Bello, has developed a large tooth abscess and an infection in his mouth, right where his teeth were removed. He has also lost 300 grams.
He had his teeth removed on April 16. We had a follow-up checkup at the vet on April 24, and I’d like to tell you about that visit here:
When the vet comes in, she seems to be in a bit of a hurry. She asks me to put Bello on the scale, and I do so. Then she wants to move him over to the table so she can check his mouth. All of this happens at a frantic pace, which makes Bello anxious and unsettled , and the vet can’t get him to open his mouth because he keeps trying to wriggle away.
The vet then decides to pick up Bello in her arms; she sits down on a chair and holds Bello tightly in her arms, then tries to open his mouth. Even though Bello tried everything he could to get away, she held him down. The vet sat in the chair and forced his mouth open, so she could only look from behind and from the side where she was sitting.
When she was done, Bello ran under a box in the room and hid. The vet finished by saying he couldn’t stay there because a dog was about to come into the room, and then the vet picked up my cat and put him in the bag I’d brought for him. Bello did peed in his bag; I discovered this when I got home because it smelled like cat urine. My cat has never before been so distressed that he peed in his bag.
My cat has never been himself since the operation. After the checkup on the 24th, I felt like things were only getting worse with him, but I thought maybe it was because of the bad experience we had with the vet there.
I also didn't feel that the few seconds the vet spent examining him during the checkup on April 24 were thorough.
A few days later, it was still the same, so I called the vet and told them about it. They said it was completely normal for a 14-year-old cat to be so tired afterward.
A few days later, I called again, and the vet said once more that it was completely normal, since the stitches from his surgery could take up to a month to dissolve, so this might be irritating him.
So on May 16, I decided to contact someone who could communicate telepathically with animals, and she also said that my cat just needed rest to recover.
And yes, then on May 28, I discovered a large lump (dental abscess) under his chin on the left side.
So my question now is: Can this infection and this large swelling and weight loss, develop in just a few days? The swelling is about a quarter of an egg.

Last night my cat itched a little in the swollen area. And this morning I can see that it has gone up a little, because there is a little blood in his fur. I have hydrogen peroxide, which I have put a little on the area.
Would it be better to have the fur around the swelling trimmed? Because I can see that the fur is tangled in the wound.

I'm sorry to hear about Bello's continued dental challenges.
Did the vet do dental x-rays when Bello was under anesthesia?

Its hard to see on a picture because my cat have white fur ( he is a Birma cat )
I also thinking because Bello have never been himself ever since he got the tooths removed, so could it have been this from the beginning? Also because Bello is first started now, after i have started giving the antibiotics, to slowly be himself again.
Only way to do it , its to take the trip to the vet. Or should i ask a person one with a fur Clipper , to come and help me to do it ? So it will be a new person i not know , coming in our home.

Great idea! Tho possibly unnecessary.
If you wet the area (and fur) down with peroxide, are you able to see the spot where the abscess is draining?
The goal is to get the abscess to drain completely. That means you may need to massage it to get the pus out.
And see if firmly pressing it with a hot compress helps it drain.
