Urinary blockage

Update on rahji- rahji had to go under and get his bladder drained again a few days ago

. we have started homeopathic treatment at home now and have seen some little improvements with urine output and he looks less puffy. Although we have just woken up at 1am, and rahji wont stop trying to urinate, (lots of straining) and a bit of blood in his urine, i have cycled through the different homeopathic remedy’s, as some are meant to help with pain, but he still seems in alot of discomfort. So right now we are unsure what to do, if we should be giving him Buprenorphine as pain relief at this point, although our homeopathic vet said the mainstream vet meds can counter the homeopathic remedy’s, its a bit of a stressful situation atm.

Right now he hasn't had any Vet meds for 24 hours

Hi dr Jeff did you see the message above? Its morning now and we ended up giving the Buprenorphine at 3am as rahji appear to be in too much pain, he then slept throughout the night in our bed. This morning he is still straining a bit but seems a but calmer with the pain meds from last night its now 10:20am

Yes I did see it. My question related to the present moment and how he is since then.

The reason being that we all live in a dynamic equilibrium (always changing and still connected).

Does he continue to improve at all, or just continue to go up and down in the direction of worsening?

The trend is our friend (in terms of HMDM).

Hi Jeff, rahji seems to have calmed down alot on one of the homeopathic remedies called pulsatilla 1m. Hes been sleeping alot on it and liking pats, but not really wanting to play and explore as much. We got him checked at the vet yeterday and his bladder was smallish (must be due to over 30 wees that he was doing at home) and they were able to express a little bit too. He doesnt seem to want to eat much now though. He drank his broth but only had a few bites of food yesterday. This morning he seems to have an urgency to go to the toilet (producing small wees) and his mood seems a bit calmer. Still not really wanting to eat this morning. Drank some of the fluids around his food.

Was a little concerned at the high potency of the homeopathic remedy that was prescribed to him being 1m but the homeopath vet said its due to the chronic condition.

Excellent!

When was the dose of Puls?

Update- Good news We have been seeing improvements with rahji over the past few days when he started taking Pulsatilla homeopathic remedy. He has appears to be less stressed, he is still urinating a-lot but the wee sizes are a bit bigger now. Theres also not as much signs of blood in the urine. We only give the pulsatilla when we see signs of stress or discomfort etc so far 1-2x per day. He is also off all of his mainstream Vet meds (Buprenorphine, meloxicam, gabapentin etc) and seems to be doing better without them. He is sleeping a-lot and is inly doing tiny poo pellets atm too.

We have noticed differences when administering colloidal silver (sovereign silver) given 2x per day too, he seems to be more relaxed shortly after.

Do you know any good probiotic brands for cats?

Will keep you updates! Thanks
