Susceptibility is what helps determine if your pets get sick.

Homeopathic medicine use is based on symptoms produced by individuals that are susceptible to some change in the environment. Symptoms also help you know what to do if our pets get sick.

This is a VERY big and important topic. I'd like to discuss it much further.

But for now, here's a great passage from a homeopathy student's thesis:

"The person who suffers from an acute disease (due to an infection, an
accident, etc.) or from chronic disease of a physical or emotional nature is in a
state of imbalance, which is unique to him or her. In general, this state of
imbalance is caused from the combination of three main groups of factors. The
first is the general predisposition or susceptibility. The second is the environment
and all factors of stress and the third is the general hygiene or life style of the
individual as well as his or her mental hygiene."

Any questions?

The issue of susceptibility also helps you determine the risk of your pet getting vaccinosis. Or of "catching" an infection.

Filling that ("morbid") susceptibility is how nosodes work.

Every living being exists in a delicate internal balance. Your pets are no different in this respect.

Vaccination can worsen that susceptibility. However, at the same time it may create memory cells and antibodies that help your pets resist exposure to infection.

So while they may have decreased chance of infection from that the particular organisms vaccinated against, their susceptibility in general is greater.

This is a complicated subject, so feel free to post or send any questions.
