Hi hive!

I have a 4 year old Frenchton. She's spayed and has all the allergies frenchies are known for. I've taken her to an allergist and homeopath to help find foods that I can feed her. She was so reactive to most. She'd itch, had a rash under chin and red eyes. We finally settled on a diet of quinoa, cottage cheese and high grade fish oil, green powder. I occasionally give her Primal or other good brand of pork or salmon canned food. She seems to tolerate those the best. I know I need to rotate her diet and this is not a diet that is working for her overall. She is still vwry high strung, whines, barks and is anxious. We need help with a diet and feeding her proteins that will work. Really appreciate your advise!

I don't know what sort of homeopath you consulted, but this whole picture I can well imagine would respond to a carefully chosen remedy given with full attention to followup and subsequent doses. You are on the right track in thinking this - messing with the diet - is not a solution. An animal who is this far from eating a prototypically correct diet is not fully healthy, even if they can subsist on it. Insightful homeopathic treatment can restore her true natural potential, allowing her to eat normally. Yes, she may have innate genetic issues, but I feel that there is a lot of progress to be made here.

How frustrating for you when you have tried several approaches and nothing seems to be working. Good for you to have continued to experiment with foods so you have a "tolerable" diet for now. That gives you some breathing room.

As Ginny says, homeopathy can certainly resolve the anxieties, behaviors and skin problems. When you are sad that she is itching, remind yourself that dogs do not die from skin problems, so it is good you have avoided suppressing the itching and are trying for a deep cure.

Who was your homeopath? You may need to try another.

On the journey to health there are so many things to try, so patience, and one approach at a time is needed. Acupressure, flower essences, oils, supplements, reiki, ttouch, healing touch for animals, tui na and so many more that can soothe and deeply cure.

Be sure you have really studied the 101 health course so you are looking at the whole pattern. Pay attention to the talk on HMDM.

In the resource library, click on the skin box (and you can get more at my site's free article on skin), allergy box, digestive system, homeopathy. Read with an attitude of learning rather than how to fix the symptoms.

Schedule your 15 call to get some more direction. If you feel really at sea after that, consider a paid call with me to help your sort out your next steps.

Most importantly, spend most of your time playing, meditating together, laughing, loving, not worrying. They really do pick up on that anxiety. The Happiness Protocol can have amazing results.
