Hi everyone-

In preparation for tomorrow's webinar about preventing and managing cancer, I'd like to discuss a Holistic Action! that every pet can benefit from and which will improve all of their lives.

It is a simple and free action that you can start today and which is research-proven to decrease cancer and improve quality of life (in people).

All you have to do is increase your pet's opportunities to use their breathing to increase cellular energy and heal.

Human yoga practitioners do this with breathing exercises called pranayama.

You can teach some of these to pets but don't need to do so.

To get the benefit, all you have to do is add a 20 minute sniff walk/day for dogs and cats (that can walk on a leash using a harness).

Alternatively, you can play a nosework or hunt for treats game.

As soon as the new vet journal article about this is published, I will post a link here and add it to your HMDM research folder.

A snuffle mat can be used to hunt for treats indoors. Includes other benefits for the dog as well as sniffing.

Fantastic Debbie, thanks!:snowman::snowman::snowman:

What an awe-some addition to the sniffing-energy optimization toolkit.

I'm ordering 1 for Archie right away.

Yay Archie! ?❤️
Yes, Koby coughs sometimes while sniffing and after eating the treats from the mat. But I must say, this activity helps his energy tremendously. ?❤️
