Lethargy and loss of appetite - sudden after pet sitter

You’ll never believe it, but Dr Sagueras office just called. They have an opening on Sat at 10a. Right before that, my chiro said I can bring Beau in on Tuesday, and he’ll adjust him. That means he has a full team:

Here’s the update from the weekend - I want to confirm next steps with you.

Dr Sagrera says it could be renal diabetes and wants him to be tested for that and a bio acid (?) test. She says sulphur is the right remedy for renal diabetes so I’m going to keep dosing as needed since I saw improvements.

The neuro isn’t sold on the idea that it’s a neuro issue so wants him to be on a few days of cerenia to see if his appetite comes back again as a test. He’s still eating only half of his meals and yesterday morning had a poop with some black spots in it. It could be undigested kidney treats or it could be a sign that he’s got a digestive issue.

Here are the new labs from AMC (with the CBC) and a photo of his poop. What are your thoughts? Should I give it to him? Or should I just skip it and book next with an internal med vet who can focus on the endocrinology and digestive tests?

Did Beau see a neurologist or internal medicine specialist? It looks like Dr. Rachel Formaker is an intern (usually a newish veterinarian).
