Is homeopathy remedy appropriate for a symptom part of a normal heat cycle

Blossom, F-OSS since 10/2023 who is only 7 has been having issues that now make sense as related to her heat cycle that began around the first of July. I went to CHATgpt which I love and find it invaluable to put all the pieces together of any problem that has been incompletely put together by any veterinarian so far even including her Reproduction specialist---that is crazy! It has been very frustrating and worrisome. Now my mind is eased understanding that the symptoms of inappetance are related to her Diestrus phase of her cycle that lasts 60 days, where progesterone predominates--sleepy in the morning and has to be coaxed to eat. Did anyone here know about that? Her slowness in the morning has nothing to do with mirroring me---or a spleen issue per Chinese medicine. This is where the woo woo stuff gets off track when there is a physical explanation. Later in the day she is a different dog with interest and energy but nobody even connected the dots. Not only that, her thyroid was tested when her estrogen was the HIGHEST and potentially suppressing her T4 and affecting her TSH. I distinctly told the Repro doctor July 2nd she just started her heat and it did not even register about the accuracy of the thyroid results at her highest estrogen, getting blood that day. When I gave her the medication full dose for a few days, she got sick. CHAT also explained Thyroid affects the GI tract and also indicated her slow walking and puffing may be unrelated to thryoid but more related to her xray 2 years ago showing lower airway disease which nobody mentioned to me. Did Blossom feel unwell on the thyroid because thyroid requires more demand for oxygen from the pulmonary system and increasing metabolism? I happened to see it a few weeks ago going through her records. It looks like good ol mom here is the one who has to tell the doctors when she goes in this week that I do not want my dog dosed by textbook recommendations for thyroid but am going at her own pace which is .2 SID for a week and now she is at .2BID WITH a meal and doing well. Dose doctor agreed to was .4 BID which she got sick on and not doing that again. So the question here is this: If inappetance is part of her NORMAL cycle can Nux Vomica or one of those remedies be given since it is not really a symptom but part of her normal cycle for her it seems. Can it be given for support? I have been giving it to her daily and she would then come to eat a while later. I have to say I am similarly disappointed in the homeopath who never after many texts put her nausea, and inappetance in the context of her cycle which is a major thing in her physicality twice a year. I now go to Chat for the most complete coverage of any problem. When the info feels right it IS right. With Blossom they made all the symptoms fit.I can only imagine seeing the internal medicine dr this week what nonsense I will hear, wanting to repeat xrays with no reason--she is holding steady in regard to the finding, no change and I am not going to allow stressing her out. I think I just want a talking appointment and forget the attempt at a fractionated diagnosis without integrating all the pieces. I guess I will have to educate the homeopath too as to heat cycles. He could have told me in one text what CHAT told me!! This needs to be said for those who have not yet found CHAT. Today I feel like I know and understand my dog's reluctance to eat and no medical degree needed. We talk about importance and transmission of our own moods attitudes etc... but maybe when we understand the cause IT causes a change in our own demeanor and what we transmit to our dogs that is GENUINE --they can tell fake happiness. It is backwards to just not worry and be happy when we have no answers that indeed DO have a physical basis. We DO have to find the physical in fairness to our dogs and not just be happy and throw the dice.

no need to force her eat in the AM if she does not want to. Important to listen to what they need. Maybe an hour later?

Not every dog in diestrus acts that way. The "woo woo" is still very important so that we can see how each individual reacts to hormonal changes.

I do not want my dog dosed by textbook recommendations for thyroid but am going at her own pace which is .2 SID for a week and now she is at .2BID WITH a meal and doing well.
There are many ways to rebalance the body so it can naturally produce the required thyroid hormone - until you discover what that is for her, following your observations about dose of chemical is good.

except in acute situations, for short periods of time, or because of serious tissue damage, we rarely recommend giving a homeopathic medicine for "a symptom" or for long term. The goal is not support, rather accurate rebalancing of the vital force. Homeopathic medicine are powerful and need to be completely individualized. If you want to give something daily that is not individualized, go for flower essence, essential oils, herbs (though need a little caution there), acupressure, energy healing, etc.

Again, do not try to force her to eat at a particular time. It may not have been the Nux "making her eat" but just the time of day.

Because of your concerns about homeopathic results, you may want to consult with veterinarians trained in many other modalities.
