I injured paw on kitty

Hello,

A kitty I helped rescue has a hurt paw. Until he can be seen by a vet if there anything we can do to help clean, disinfect or treat this paw? We gave him one dose of arnica yesterday evening. Thank you!!

If the kitty allows handling, try gently wiping the oozy areas with peroxide. Then lovingly massage in some organic aloe.

Peroxide is great to knock down the surface bacteria contaminating a fresh wound. But only use it once for the initial cleaning. Continued use disrupts the fibroblasts and skill cells that will be working to heal the wound.
