Hello everyone,
Have you ever heard of massive horns coming out of every paw pad on a cat? They are painful and affecting behavior. What’s the root cause and is there a way to heal?
Reaching out for a desperate friend who helps me in rescue work about her cat.
Gogo, born 6/27/24 is a Siamese cat who found in a rain drainage system with her litter
From Kankakee shelter, she was in a colony at shelter with 40 other cats in same room. Adopted her with geradia and other parasite
that were tricky to clear out of her system, it took months for a clean bill of health.
Had bad uri for months
Adopted her at 6 weeks
now has stomatitis and gingivitis, massive red line in her mouth and lots of swelling. 4 rotting teeth pulled this week to help reduce mouth swelling.
Skittish and won’t let me brush teeth.
Has massive horns coming out of every paw pad that are painful and affecting behavior. She has a hard time walking and it’s extremely painful when she has to get the horns clipped and she’s traumatized from this.
Very sweet / shy cat
(Photo taken after clipping, horns can be very long if not clipped, rapid growth and hard to clip since she’s so shy and it’s painful)
I feel so bad for this fur baby! Any insight would be amazing.
Thank you,
Anna
