Hi @Dr. Jean Hofve , I just had a chance to watch last month's webinar on Creating a Life Your Cat Loves and you did a fantastic job, it really resonated with me. Here are some questions:

  1. How are you feeling after your knee replacements? I hope you are healing well.
  2. What are piece was that behind you as your screen saver. I LOVE IT! Looks like Monet with Cats, hahaha.
  3. What crystals would you recommend for my Bella who has kidney issues, has had the on again off again vomiting, and overgrooming so she can choose to use them around her or not (support herself and healing)
  4. What kind of sounds do you play in the background for kitties?
  5. Regarding laser lights, I have used them with success...with red lights! So they must see them?!?! I haven't seen green or blue light lasers, but am intrigued on any feedback.
  6. I related to your sharing about living on a busy street. My street does get the occasional sometimes weekly or sometimes more, ambulance passing by with sirens. But I also feel that my neighbor across the street recently that had masonry all day project really did a number on Bella's nerves including my own! This was when she was vomiting daily and had even left a poop in her water dish when I came home from work. I had left the windows closed with AC on and a few times some light classical music...thank God the work ended last week. In the midst of that, I was scheduled to have the last leg of a kitchen project finished and I cancelled it. The feeling was obvious of more peace when I cancelled this project and the neighbor finished her patio work. Bella was then able to make it 7 days with no vomiting. I have not done an abdominal ultrasound yet though I did have blood work ran a week ago. Anyways, I just wanted to say I truly believe the environment affected her.
  7. I love how you talked about our life path, and our cats life path. You shared SO MUCH WISDOM at this part of the webinar. About creating our own path, self love, acceptance, etc etc. XOXO

Hi Daysha, don't know how I missed this, sorry!

1. I'm doing fantastic, the knees are healing great and I have resumed my fun travels!
2. The screensaver was made up by AI. Wish I could remember what I asked it for, but I absolutely adore the result!
3. Crystals, I would consider malachite (though it is very strong so put it apart from others so she can use it or not). Bloodstone, yellow calcite, carnelian, jade, and clear quartz can all helpful. Read up on each of them so you can match them to her emotional needs as well.
4. I use a lot of Solfeggio frequencies, particularly 432 and 528 Hz. Some of the "cat music" on YouTube is very nice to leave on in the background. I have a whole playlist of nice background music that I've come across. There is definitely quite a lot of classical music in there too! Here's one I used for healing after surgery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyaVBq53p2M&list=PPSV
5. Cats do see the red laser, but whether they see it as red or just as a light, who knows. That's why I think a blue or green one might work even better.
6. So glad things have gotten so much better for Bella without the construction! Cats are so sensitive to their environments, and if we're not home all day, we have no idea what's actually happening right outside!
7. Thanks for your kind words! I felt VERY strongly about including this section and really emphasizing the role that our personal emotional energy plays in our cats' health!
