My kitty Poppy is going thru another anemia challenge once again. My question is, can cats take all these supplements that are listed in the plant based iron that I take? Are these safe for cats? I'd love to give him some of this--as it helps me. Or is there a plant based iron supplement for cats?

HI Alice- Why are you giving him Slippery Elm? Could it be stopping him up? I've learned that alot of water should be drank while taking the slippery elm because it swells and could cause problems.

I'd like to know too about the rabies vaccine and kidney issues as well for my dog. Her blood work came back slightly elevated for the kidneys and pancreas. Her rabies vaccine is due any day now as well and I don't want her vaccinated regardless.
