Re. Kitty Soca; 12.5 yrs; SF; DSH; 2.8kg; BEAM-4/4/5/5; Royal Canin 12+ dry; small amounts of various wet brands; never vaccinated- indoor; no known toxins; no meds other than occasional. Chronic nasal inflammation for over 1.5 years including ongoing snoring-breathing, reduced energy, increased appetite, increased water intake, weight loss, decreased activity.

Began months after her cat companion Tootie died and new male rescue cat Buck entered the home. Seems pretty constant.

Senior panel Bloodwork and urinalysis completed. Will attach.

No diagnosis other than nasal inflammation. DVM suggested abdominal ultrasound or rhinoscopy.

Royal Canin 12+ dry
As per our discussion today, our first priority will be adding some (any!) fresh food to allow gradual weaning of the dry food.

Sardines, scrambled eggs with parmesan cheese, baby food, coconut oil, etc.

And also to entice her to snuffle at least 2x/ day. Try the Wysong Dream treats. If she likes them, you can crumble them into the snuffle mat:
