Hello,
Our almost 15 y old Havanese suddenly has this spot on one eye. Do you know what this might be?
Per Dr. Judith Herman, on Monday we gave her a Rhus Tox 1x for skin eruptions all over her neck, head and chin.
Her BEAM was improving quite a bit before the skin eruptions.
Also, since we checked on this skin condition by using a little muscle (she protested greatly), she seems to have gotten weaker in her legs (again) and
exhibits signs of more confusion and is more tired.
I'm concerned that we may have exacerbated her (healing) symptoms by over-handling her to stay still while we examined the skin. It seemed unavoidable,
but now, I'm wondering what else we could have done?
Thank you for any insights.
Sheri & David

Great question Sheri! Changes in pigment color anywhere on the body (including the iris) are often signs that an internal energetic imbalance is exteriorizing. This is also often true for skin eruptions.

Had you perhaps given a homeopathic remedy within the past few weeks?

Oh, nothing different needed to be done! The symptoms you see today may be a result of her body responding to the remedy ( it's a good sign to see a slight aggravation days 1-3 after a dose).

If she's not doing better by the weekend, perhaps contact Dr. Judy (you can also contact her on the forum @dr_ judy herman ).

Dr. Jeff, that hadn't occurred to us! It's been three days since the remedy was given. We'll observe how she is tomorrow and take it from there.
Last questions for this thread---Is there any way to restrain Fibi without her being able to contort herself in protest? We need to clip the hair in order to expose the scabs. Lastly, what can we use to help the scabs to not be itchy and uncomfortable for her?

Yes. Step 1-change your mindset. You're helping her, not restraining her. Step 2-Ask David to feed her a continuous stream of tiny bits of food while you clip (or while he does).
Lastly, what can we use to help the scabs to not be itchy and uncomfortable for her?
Yes, there's tons of mild stuff out there like:

Sheri,
We recorded Dr. Lisa Fox last night. When asked, she said the brown spot after a treatment could be a great indication that detoxification was happening, or other releasing. !! good news!!
