Shedding of guard coat - effect of anaesthesia drugs

Listen had her spay operation two weeks ago. She had basically finished shedding her undercoat before the surgery. I have noticed in these two weeks that she is losing a lot of her guard coat, which I never noticed in other shedding events. Someone suggested that it might have to do with the drugs used for the anaesthesia, which I do have a record of, if that would help. My question: Is there anything I can do to slow down the shedding of the guard hairs or to encourage regrowth? I guess this would also have to do with the three areas of shaving - her belly, front leg for syringe, and the end of her tail for the hotspot six weeks ago. The tail hair is slowly growing back, with dark skin colour where the infection was (vet said this was not unusual).

Many thanks,
Myokyo

Speaking as a lay person, I would not be alarmed at this, but rather view it as a form of "detox", but not of any particular compound, and not needing further attention. When skin "stuff" appears, it is generally a good sign that the body is dealing with something and pushing it out.
Of course, excellent diet, play, and loving, upbeat attention will help her with this process. Think of it as a cleansing, housekeeping sort of event. It is possible that an appropriate homeopathic remedy, as determined by a competent practitioner, might help, but I'm betting she can figure this out on her own, and be the better for it.
