My 10 pound puppy just ate most (but not all) of a red yeast rice pill. Should I go to the vet or use slippery elm?

Never mind. Was concerned and called poison control. They stated to just watch him. Thank you!

Congratulations on your new family member Kathy!

Yes, no worries at all about the supplement ingestion.

Is he your only pup? :dog2: 🤩

thank you so much! I gave him a turkey bone today and realized later that I should not have done that as his tail has been down most of the day and his appetite very poor. He finally ate some food later tonight, but ate more after I gave him some chicken and peas. he also went over to try and eat the cat food (I keep him away form the cat food) hence, I will be monitoring him to see if he gets worse I.e. vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy etc. If that happens I will get in to see a vet. Having a puppy has been very stressful for me!
