On Monday (2/24/20) Dr. Sara will be teaching us more about helping pets by changing the things in their lives that may be standing in the way of a better balance and BEAM.

Then she, Dr. Christina, and I will discuss your questions and pet problems that may be due to obstacles to cure.

If your pet is susceptible, based on individuality, then the obstacle may even act as a trigger.

For example, I was talking earlier with Dr. Melissa earlier about aromatherapy and essentials oils (EOs) and she mentioned a pup who periodically would go into kidney failure after sitting on a couch sprayed with Febreeze.

BTW-Anyone with essential oil questions should go to her wonderful website:

This great article talks about how to solve one of the biggest obstacles (low vitality diet).

Here's one of Hahnemann's seemingly simple, but vitally important, aphorisms about obstacles:

The most appropriate regimen during the employment of medicine in chronic diseases consists in the removal of such obstacles to recovery, and in supplying where necessary the reverse:

1. innocent moral and intellectual recreation

2. active exercise in the open air in almost all kinds of weather (daily walks, slight manual labor)

3. suitable, nutritious, unmedicinal food and drink, etc.

Dr. Melissa is wonderful! We love her oils. I would love to learn more about the do's and don'ts of essential oils when we're on homeopathic medicines - What should be avoided and what are allowed.

Yes, Christine!

Safety of EOs will be an important topic for her 3/2 session.

Airborne toxins from odors like outgassing paint can harm pets.

Dr. Melissa has a well-documented series of 9 cases exposed to strong odors, from air fresheners and perfume, who all developed liver blood test abnormalities.

The cat's liver values returned to normal when the source of the odor was eliminated.

Successful resolution of the liver abnormalities would have been unlikely without unplugging the Glade air fresheners.

They'd be considered an obstacle to restoration of balance.

In these cases, the homeostatic imbalance was seen by the internal symptoms of elevated liver tests.
