Neuro-cardiac event with resulting unilateral hind leg dysfunction and balance problems.

Cat info: 1. William, 7, M; 2. N; 3. DSH; 4. 13 lbs.; 5. B - semi-feral, E - high, A - good, M - friendly but cranky; 6. Purina Pro Plan; 7. Rabies vaccinated, distemper titre, no known toxin exposure or other current meds; 8. Cat began staggering and falling on the right side 12 Aug. AM; had vomited during the night. Cannot remain upright without a supporting structure on right side for long and appears to have only partial use of right rear leg. Agitated compulsive heavy and loud licking for 1-2 wks. prior; 9. Condition appears to worsen during periods of stress/emotional upset; 10. Examined at VEG clinic Ellicott City (blood work, blood pressure, X-rays, sonogram) but no definitive diagnosis possible; 11. Various homeopathic treatments administered; 12. No other health concerns; 13. @Dr. Jeff @Dr. Christina

Next step appears to be a visit to a feline cardiologist or neurologist? Any other potential remedies, treatments, therapies?

Poor William(cornflake) and family. episodes like this can be so distressing.

You say you have given homeopathic medicines - do you work with a homeopathic veterinarian and who is that? Which remedies? We cannot suggest remedies as that would entail a complete intake.

We can suggest flower essences, Energy healing like Reiki, keeping William's humans staying positive and upbeat around him.

Did the clinic say if one possibility could be aortic thrombosis?
