Need a vet recommendation for our pet bunny. ?

Hello,

We need a recommendation for a vet who works with Bunnies. The skin right in the front corner of her eye is pinkish and she's scratching at it.

If anyone has any insight and/or tips on this symptom we would greatly appreciate it.

Hello Anna and bunny. For how long has she been doing this? how is her beam? Did anything change before she started doing it?

While looking for a holistic vet, you can increase nutrition with fresh grass and weeds (plantain, dandelions, etc); increase happiness with any type of play she likes; keep your thoughts positive and see the itching resolve; start using some of the energy methods we discuss at HA.

And you could gently rub that area with the following. They may come in an eye formula in your health food store; or make a tea; or put a few drops of any of the following in some water (test first in your eye).
Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis)
Echinacea
Chamomile
Calendula
Rescue remedy (dilute a few drops in 1/2 C water)

Tis a challenge to find rabbit vets. Go to www.theavh.org where you can put in a search for "exotics". Call or email those to see which work with rabbits. You can broaden your search by reading the how to select a veterinary article at HA.
