My pup won’t eat

Dr Jeff,

Luke did not eat at all yesterday. He vomited water in the morning then spit up a couple times during the day. Now today he had about 2 bites of food but he likes his duck treats and had 3 of them. He is drinking ok. I did give him the Nux Vomica 12c this morning with 3 smacks. How do I get him to eat something? He was doing so well until yesterday. He can’t afford to lose more weight. I also sent you a couple of emails.

Thanks,
Donna

Most importantly, while waiting for Dr. Jeff to reply, is not to worry. Often, when our pups know we are worried, it makes them more worried. though focused on cats, Anitra Frazier's webinar helps you school your thoughts to joy and positivity.

You could do EFT on yourself to decrease worry - search the past webinar sections for several on EFT (Dr. Jean Hofve, Joan Ranquet). Also excellent are the Reiki seminars - kathleen Prasad and Leah D'ambrosio - no need to be attuned - they walk you through letting your pup lead the way.

Maybe some rescue remedy to all of you.

Dr Jeff,

Luke is still huffing and really has no appetite. I am concerned that he will have lost weight when we go to the vet today. He is dragging himself around and I am very concerned about his energy level and appetite. He ate a little something this morning then about 2 hours later he vomited what he ate. I stopped the Nux on your recommendation.

We need to have a plan today to help him with the nausea, vomiting and huffing and of course the not wanting to eat. I'm thinking maybe a probiotic or something that will make him feel better right away. We are getting him the IV bubble today and we will learn how to give it to him at home.

This has been so much on his little body and it's starting to wane on all of us. We also have our daughter getting married at the end of the month and how is Luke going to go through that if he is not feeling better? And how are we going to drive 2 hours with him not feeling well?

Can we add 15 minutes to our call today? We need to get this resolved and come up with a plan that will help this issue. Steve and I are at our wits ends with worry and trying everything to help him feel more comfortable.

This is a very urgent issue, I don't want to lose my beautiful dog.

Thanks,
Donna
