My cat with HCM heart disease

My cat Simon was diagnosed with Hypotrophic Cardiomyopathy - a very bad heart condition in cats. What can I do using homeopathy to treat and help his condition. He is currently taking Atenolol and Omega 3 fatty acids. Any suggestions

Fish oil is definitely important; it has a slight blood thinning effect, as well as powerful anti-inflammatory properties. No reason to stop the atenolol at this point, though it could be a goal in the future as he heals. The record noted he was on Royal Canin dry food; if he's still eating that, you'll want to convert him to a much better diet as Dr. Jeff mentioned. The record also says he's due for panleuk and upper respiratory vaccines in December--he doesn't need them, and in fact with this chronic disease he should not be vaccinated at all. Don't know where you are in the world, but flea and heartworm medications may be problematic. Homeopathy will be key in his healing, but the docs here with more experience in that will guide you.
