When searching for a video to share with @LouiseRF, I found this simple and clear video about how to measure your dog or cat's resting respiratory rate (RRR):
RRR is helpful as part of the monitoring of BEAM and other symptoms when:
1. If there's any suspicion of heart or lung dis-ease
2. Whenever there is pneumonia, bronchitis or asthma
3. In cases of congestive heart failure or any heart dis-ease
4. Whenever there are lung tumors or suspicion of cancer in the lungs
5. And more (where have you found this to be helpful?)...
A few of the caring animal guardians here have already been using this, and I'd love to hear your experiences.
