Itchy Paws/Nail Biting

Hello! We recently switched to a home cooked diet and use platinum performance supplement in our dogs food to ensure she is getting all of the necessary nutrients as well. She has always locked her paws and bit her nails when on kibble but she is continuing to do so, specifically biting her nails. We keep them cut and grind them as well as they grow longer.

Could this be allergy related from seasonality? Or food allergies? Was wondering if there was any supplements that could help with this or diet change?

Hey Tammi- Happy Sunday! I'm so glad that Chewey saw the dermatologist! She gave you some great info. Yes, it makes sense to me that a food allergy would be more likely than an inhalation allergy. Regardless of his diagnosis (even if it is Cheyletiella) we know that there is some imbalance...
