How do I detox my cats from Bravecto?

I have 2 cats- Lancelot neutered male Bengal,14 yrs & Eloise neutered female Bengal mix, 4 yr old. They are both close to 13 lbs.
After moving to East Tx last Nov. my new vet scared me regarding a lethal tick disease in my area that kills cats within 24 hrs. so I applied Bravecto mid March as recommended by this vet. (They rec'd rabies vaccine then also).
Then I read in the forum about the toxicity of this Bravecto so I did not reapply it.

In mid Aug both cats had fleas, my husband & I get bitten too & the our house infested. We began putting diatamaceous earth on the area rugs & laundering stuff. Lancelot scratched his neck so hard that he had an open sore which is now healed.

Then we had petsitters stay at our house from Aug 20 until we returned Sept 8th from a vacation.
They were from a company called Trusted Housesitters which a friend recommended to us.

Lancelot was obviously mistreated during our absence as he is still very needy but much less stressed.
We have held him for hours every day since returning.

We are remediating the house & yard(cats love to go in our yard)with flea killing products.
The petsitters applied revolution 3 weeks ago with little relief for the cats but may not have gotten it all on them.
Daily we have used a flea comb on the cats and spray a topical essential oil spray from a vet to repel fleas.
We finally decided that they have suffered enough and put Bravecto on them again today(Sept 15).

My question is ---what can I do now to help them detox from this Bravecto?
What else can we do to give them relief in the future?

I have had many cats over the years but never had a problem with fleas even in Florida.
Of course I had 2 small dogs also then that the fleas preferred.
The vet told me that it is a really bad year here for fleas due to lots of rain & humidity.
Thank you!

Sometimes fleas surprise us with their tenacity, though usually, even in FL the cats and dogs who are balanced, vital and healthy just do not attract fleas.

You have been a member for a good while, so I am sure you have taken the 101 class, and maybe some of the forum posts on "de-tox".
This is a common question on the internet as people are looking for a one size fits all answer. As you may have learned here, each animal is unique and may need different support. Detox is not really needed, per se, unless there are changes that happened after the toxin. One forum post was about a cat with anemia after vaccines. Building health will both eliminate the fleas and do any "de-tox" needed unless there are specific symptoms that may need homeopathic or other energetic care.

FLEAS: Did you download the ebook - Fleas Be gone? Missing from that are 2 companies. 1. Flea Destroyer (check out their webinar at HA!) to rebalance the nematodes in the yard that will eliminate fleas and benefit the good bugs. 2. tickless.com is an ultrasonic tag that seems to be better than all the energy field tags like zero bug zone.

Who do you have on your holistic health care team? What energy techniques are you learning and using? East Texas does not have any holistic vets that I know of so you may need an open conventional vet (check out every website near you) and a homeopathic virtual vet.

Also, keeping a cat journal can help you know what is most helpful for BEAM, etc, and what treatment is working.

Let us know if you want more specifics.
