Giardia after treatment of Coccidia

@Dr. Jeff you had mentioned that perhaps we did not have to treat the Giardia (if it still came back in stool as positive) after treating Coccidia with Albon for two weeks. What can we do instead? I was trying to get a sence of how much Giardia but the front desk didn't know. Should I persist?

If all else is well, there is no need to treat the giardia. Keep focusing on building health (all the lessons in the holistic class) and blessing the gut microbiome and the giardia will eventually resolve.

Let us know if there are other concerns in addition to the lab test.

The decision to use drugs like fenbendazole (for Giardia) include:

1. Are there any GI symptoms (like diarrhea, mucus in the stool, flatulence, etc)

2. Was the test an antibody test, or did they actually see the Giardia oocysts? And if they saw them, how many?

No GI symptoms...at least I don't think so. We're trying out different foods and sometimes his stool is quite soft. Eating rabbit does it for sure. I don't think so but not positive.
Stool sample shows 3-10 Giardia cysts present. Any thoughts?
