We sent Fibi over the rainbow bridge Friday at 2:30pm. I wanted to keep her body cold for a couple of days but David did not. We partially buried her in a hand made box at around 4:30 pm. I am conflicted. I'm now feeling like her soul is stuck bc of some of the things I've read. Where is her soul now? How will I know she's okay?

Well, I would say that if YOU release her soul she will be appreciative; you may be holding her back by worrying. All my studies on death experiences lean towards a beautiful freedom - she may feel regret at your response, but will bless you for what you've done for her. I'd say to let her go, free of her pain-ridden old physical nature, and rejoice in her happiness.

Hi Ginny & group,

I beleive I did release her. However, I miss her physical presence like nothing else. I hope that is not preventing soul departure..?
I read in the Brighthaven Guide to Animal Hospice this morning that there is a Tibetan three day ritual. I realize now that I did not Have to do that, though admittedly, I panicked when I read it.

So when does the soul leave? And just because it leaves doesn't mean she's not still with us, right?
I've heard a bunch of different senarios. Currently, I'm feeling so many feelings that it's been challenging to know if I sence her with me or not. Plus, her cognitive issues were quite advanced. I'm not sure if that disapears once the soul is seperated from the body. It would make sence to me.
Can you or someone direct me to videos on this topic? Either YouTube or otherwise? I've seen a bunch. There are sooo many and I'm not sure who's reputable.
