I've only seen the first edition, but maybe @Dr. Christina, @Dr. Sara, @dr_ judy herman or @Dr. Beth have compared them both.

either is excellent.
the newer one does have more information about the different remedies and I do not think anything major was left out.
If you already have the first one, probably no need to buy the second. If buying for the first time - the second may be the best choice.
