My 6 mos old kitten was constipated, struggling to poop about 3 times lately. It’s been eating SmallBatch beef or lamb, in some water. When I give her pumpkin it’s ok again. But wondering why I would have to? Thank you. 😊

She may need the extra fiber until her microbiome gets fully balanced.

Have you used any probiotics yet?

I’ll steam some veggies. 👍

Started using just a sliver of this enzyme/probiotic that appears to be really clean:

UPDATE:

Steamed veggies had helped this kitten. 👍

PRODUCT REVIEW:

As for another cat, it would throw up ( vomit ) periodically. Possibly due to acid reflux. When adding a bit more water to their food & this probiotic to each meal, they haven’t had an episode in months. I highly recommend this product. 👍

Here’s their dosing recommendation:

“For a cat that weighs 8lb. we suggest about 1/4 of the 1/8 tsp. scoop provided. If the kitten is under this weight, you may use the same dose for them. You mentioned a sliver of the scoop, and as these are supplements, not medications, measurements do not have to be exact.”

Thank you for this forum ♥️
