@Dr. Christina, I will do my best to not worry. It has been since 2008 that I was told I had Lyme. I understood after reading Medical Medium info, that Lyme wasn't the real culprit. However, I have personally become quite sick from tick bites as they tend to kick up my viral load. as for Cooper...
@Dr. Jeff and @Dr. Christina Thank you for your insights here.
Dr. Jeff, If you and Maya are essentially rolling around in leaves and shrubs, I would imagine you both can get a lot of ticks. I my case, if I do this, I may simply be sicker for weeks until I take antivirals in shock therapy...
Hi @Dr. Jeff, @Dr. Christina @Dr. Jean Hofve,
I know there's a lyme disease course but I can not read too much these days...
I'm still not clear on tick (flea) prevention. We've used Tick Hex by Peter Dobias for years. The bottle says 'weekly." We used it almost daily. Is that too much? I...
@NancyK
Hi, and thanks for your suggestions. i tink I have slippery elm in a tea bag and no marshmallow root here...
He gets raw beef with veggies. It's all home made in a food processor. He also gets chicken. All as organic/grassfed as possible, and as humane as is possible (though I pray...
@Dr. Jeff @Dr. Christina can you guide me to something to soothe Cooper's digestion? He woke shaking some and then eventually loose stools, even some indoors after I had him out. He def seems off today even though he isn't fully potty trained.
@Dr. Jean Hofve, thank you so much for responding so quickly! We ended up giving him 12.5 as was told to us by @Dr. Jeff a while back bf we had heard from you.
He didn't vomit, but he was quite vocal the whole ride. After the grooming experience (3 hrs), he fell asleep in the car. I think he...
@Dr. Jean Hofve, @Dr. Jeff
Hi all, Just double checking if 12.5 less drowsy dramamine is correct two hrs before the trip. Also, will it still be working in his system three or so hrs later for the ride home?
Also, we also have Cocculus homeopatic remidy and accupressure, which helps...
I'm thankful @Dr. Christina but a little bit overwhelmed. I have an animal communicator on board and a massage therapist to contact. I also have WEBB basic course that I have yet to start.
I have a hard time watching videos and listening to things (I manage a chronic illness) when I'm in a...
@Dr. Jeff and @Dr. Christina,
Cooper is now nine months old. He is doing well in many ways, but I have a few concerns regarding his behavior and physical health.
Lately, he has been struggling to sleep during the day due to separation anxiety and follows me constantly. Additionally, he is a...
Hello, @Dr. Jeff and @Dr. Christina and @Dr. Jean Hofve,
We'd love to keep Cooper's teeth/gums as healthy and white as possible. He chews rawehide, 20 min., twice a day.
Any thoughts on this for when he is not chewing rawhide? We haven't been sucessful (yet) at a real bone bc of the mess...
@Dr. Jeff and @Dr. Christina, Cooper moans multiple times per day. Sometimes it's as he's just completed lying down and other times, while he's already lying down. He can either be sleeping or not. We wonder if there may be some stomach/digestive thing (blockage?) or maybe there's pain...
@Dr. Jeff, We purchased Floraphage I believe this was the supplement you recommended as a prebiotic? We are wondering the dose for 9.6 pd dog? They are capsules and it says noting about animal dosages. Thank you!
@Dr. Christina and @Dr. Jeff and @aruna, I saw the first aid kit info from a couple of yrs ago that Aruna posted. We had a kit and gave it all away thinking it would be a long time bf we considered a new up...HA! No pun intended:) Now that we have a new puppy, we want to be sure we're not...
@Dr. Christina, Thank you for your useful message. With regard to Medium Medium not being right for some, I'd say that many people dabble with his suggestions and therefore they will not necessarily see the results they're looking for. It takes commitment and often much refinement of protocols...
@Dr. Jeff, Thank you for your insights. I had a question out about eggs in a different question but it didn't get answered.With MM info isn't there concern about using eggs at all? David asked the above w/o asking about egg toxicity. Is there another way to get calcium besides bone meal or...
Meals for Cooper continues to be a strain. He's very picky. So far, he likes the most expensive meat (venision and lamb) w/o anythingelse added. Getting Fenbendazol into him for Giardia has been a struggle. We wonder if the meds or Giardia may be supressing his appetite.
Today is the last day...
@MargritVF and @Dr. Jeff, Sounds like an excellent alternative to meds. Thanks for the suggestion.
Dr. Jeff, do you recommend a dose and duration for a 10pd dog? I'm not sure I could get it in him, but it's worth a try.
