Tried that twice. The first time, there was too much going on, and this second time.....oh my gosh. He kept leaving half-eaten bowls on the floor, which I'd have to pick up. I kept worrying about cross-contamination in the refrigerator and the constant cooking, sourcing, and costs(!); it just...

Hasn't been vaccinated much (mostly just rabies). He got a triple rabies vaccination a couple of months ago

Just following up on this. I've been waiting for a response for a couple of days!
To give more detail and to reiterate the whole situation, I just searched YouTube for Kennel Cough sounds to make sure he indeed had kennel cough. Theirs all sounded much tamer than his. He seemed to have...
I just read on another thread that dogs' pain manifests as restlessness, uneasiness, etc. He does have that sometimes, so maybe it's not a 7, although he's spry and upbeat a lot of the time, so I don't know.
Before the kennel cough, his BEAM was roughly the same. We'll get dental work for...
Lord knows dogs could use that. Good luck
As far as the nutrition part of your comment, I dunno, I'll just say that I was following a very clean Medical Medium diet for a couple of years, and that did nothing for my vision. I think supplements and food are fundamental, but it's hard to get...
Yeah, random times when he takes deep breaths, gets up, etc., he has that slight "honking" sound. It lasts for maybe a second or two.
Thanks for any help you can provide
Yeah, I agree. You understand. The only thing I'd pick at is the need for "superadequate nutrition". That's kinda hard, especially for your pet. Personally, I tried that route, and what helps more is the direct rewiring of how I see. I..e. Physically trying to see in a relaxed way.
I don't...
I dunno if you're still reading this thread, but I wanted to throw out there that vision issues are mostly mental. Look up Dr. Bates M.D. I've healed my astigmatism and am working on the Myopia (have reduced a couple of diopters). Basically, relax, get lots of sunlight (food for the eyes)...
P.S. He had kennel cough a few months ago, and since then, he has that funny breathing when he moves sometimes. I gave him a Droscera remedy yesterday. Do you think that'll work? If not, what would you recommend? I've been doing acupressure on him, and tried giving him honey (he didn't like...
So I can just do a trial of Panacur and forego the test, right?
Thanks so much! I'm grateful for this forum. It got really confusing navigating Western/Eastern, but HA! makes it easier. Thanks for being there. E
Hey Dr. Jeff!
Thanks for your reply. Sorry for the delay... holidays.
So it sounds like you're saying this is all par for the course, right? That it's natural for him to be having these symptoms... he's detoxing?
I will attach his bloodwork results.
It's hard to put a number to BEAM, but...
Hello all,
Here are the stats:
Pumpkin
16
Neutered Male
Lhasa Apso/Maltese
14 lbs.
BEAM seems to be improving.
Started a Raw/homecooked diet about two weeks ago.
Vaccination history: minimal, mostly rabies. Low exposure to conventional flea control/heartworm meds/other medications.
I started...
Do you really recommend the senior wellness profiles? And I guess I can treat anything they find holistically, right? My vet is conventional; he'd recommend medication. The Medical Medium says thyroid issues are due to Epstein-Barr (IF he has thyroid issues and IF dogs can have Epstein-...
I have a 15 year old male Maltese/Lhasa mix; neutered; 15 lbs, very few vaccinations over his lifetime (mostly rabies); very few health problems (a couple of UTI's, 1 ear infection); very little medication given. On a raw diet for the past 3 months. Low EMF household. Mostly avoided flea...
That's a good point. Although I did feed him just meat and bones for about two weeks while I was figuring how how to do this new diet. But I could try again; thank you! :)
P.S. Does the thumbs up next to Dr. Jeff's name mean he liked your post?
