Friends have a lovely Dobie girl who has been diagnosed with Wobblers at about 9 years old. I have no direct experience with this, and am looking for ideas on management/treatment. She has been xrayed and is on steroids and other pain meds. We saw her today - she is one of Yuji's favorite girls - and I was able to see how the disease is affecting her. I helped this couple with a prior Dobie, and they credit me with having greatly lengthened her life through improved nutrition and adjuncts. So naturally they are asking for my input on the treatment, etc. I would be grateful for any discussion or ideas, holistic or conventional, but of course particularly possible homeopathic approaches, if only for pain management and possible improvement in movement. I have no info on any possible surgical resolution they may be considering. Thanks for anything you can contribute!

They are blessed to have you on their team and be willing to listen to you, Ginny,
1. work with a homeopath, of course. I have seen great improvements.
2. Laurie McCauley and other PT
3. Maybe, and I am not expert in this, some of the Frequency - BEMER, lasers, red light, EMF, etc.
4. Bengston?
5. Chiro for sure
6. animal intuitive to see what she wants.

Are they working with your vet?

Dr. Christina

Thank you, Dr. Christina! They are not working with my vet, but seem comfortable with what they have been told by theirs, whom I do not know. I have a great vet/chiro. They can use my laser - I can use it on her. And I gave them a PEMF wearable vest thing that was passed on to me by other friends whose boxer passed. I'd like to speak to the dog myself in a peaceful place - Yuji seemed quite worried about her, but I'd like to know what he thinks as well. Thank you for the steer:)

Thank you both, for helping the helper:)
