    Hypericum safe for horses?

    Hi, Dr. Jeff Just was listening (still) to the 10/14/17 Empower Hour on lameness, and Hypericum (St. John's Wort) was mentioned for nerve pain.  I understand St. John's Wort is contraindicated for horses for internal use.  Is Hypericum safe for use in horses? Thanks! Cecilia
