As you suggested we have successfully switched our dog Esther from novox to trixsyn for her hip issues. She had one hip replaced already and the other one looks bad in x-rays but we are hoping the new hip compensates, but she was uncomfortable without 1/2 of the lowest dose novox each day. I find she does great with the trixsyn but only if i give her a little more than the recommended dose. She is 40 lbs and closer to 2cc two times a day works better than what the label suggests which is 1.25 cc. Is it okay to give her this higher dose?? thanks so much!
