Small red bump on anus

My 6 year old Berner girl has a brother and he has developed a small red bump on his anus. We thought it might be a hemorrhoid but now concerned it could be a polyp. I’ll try to attach a picture, if anyone has any thoughts. Of course he will see a vet but just wondering if anyone has any experience. He doesn’t seem bothered by it, except he sat down yesterday and there was a little bit of poop stuck to it. Thanks

This wouldn't concern me much, but I'd definitely keep observing it. Could be a pimple, or a cyst. Both would mature and pop or shrink. The vet could tell, and may wish to lance it. I'd just watch it for a while...
