I have noticed that the skin on my 9 year old male Shuh Tzu has been darkening. Should I be concerned? He's beam is normal. He has one small bump on his skin that is growing slowly. I've been gradually moving him to a raw diet with organ meat. He is otherwise healthy.

Josiah doesn't seem to have incontinence because he can hold his bladder for long periods of time. He simply couldn't empty his bladder fully. Jean said she noticed some lower spine issues. She worked on that too. She's in Minnesota.
I am so pleased that Dr. Christina connected me with Jean Hollestein. To my great surprise, Josiah got relief immediately after his holistic appointment with her. He had been unable to totally empty his bladder when he'd "do his business" outside. There'd be a little trail of yellow drips...
I called my vet and told them everything. They were happy to know he's eating and acting normally. Said thay it would take 3 to 5 days to pass and to call if I notice he's not well. He pooped a decent amount again today, but he acted like he wanted to poop more.
Here's a picture of a bigger version of the ham bone (cooked and smoked). He slept well, hasn't thrown up again, ate breakfast. Seems normal. I'm hoping the vet can get him in for an x-ray.
FYI, I'm new to the group and am learning much here! I hesitantly gave my Shih Tzu a ham bone for the first time last evening. He loved it. I was his hero for the evening. However, I noticed that an approximately 1/2"X1/2" had disappeared alarmingly suddenly. I'm pretty sure he swallowed it...
