Update - He has not vomited last night or this morning. He has been drinking a little bit of water but he still won't eat anything. I cooked some chicken for him today.

Two days ago, I gave him a small fingertip of papaya. Could it be papaya he couldn't tolerate? I gave it, because it was recommended to me by someone who dealt with nutritional advice for dogs and cats.
