Hi Amanda!
I agree that systemic treatment is absolutely warranted, especially since Gio is so young.
I looks to me like his diet is too high in carbs and fish, and may not be balanced, especially in terms of calcium, which is important for nerve conductivity. If the salmon is farm-raised...
Yes, the spay seems early; generally we wait until the kitten is at least 2 lbs. (which they typically are at age 2 months). The weight is a better guide than age.
Agree with Dr. Jeff that giardia is the most likely culprit for the prolapse, it can cause a lot of straining.
Metronidazole is...
Hi Judith! I’m not seeing much calxium in the diet unless the pollock includes bones. (Though I am on my phone so it’s hard to read and I may be missing it.) i’d suggest something like Pitcairn’s Healthy Powder to make sure that and other trace elements are covered.

It's not unusual for cats to have large hairballs like that. It's not "normal" according to our holistic standards of energy imbalance, but it may not be a problem for an individual cat unless there are other symptoms that, in totality, indicate that a remedy is needed.

Hair ties are irresistible to many cats. They smell like mom and have yummy oils on them. Eating them is a bad habit but also a "crime of opportunity." All hair ties and any other things like that--thread, yarn, rubber bands, twisties--must always be picked up and put away in an inaccessible...
You could up the meat by about 30 grams and be balanced. Are you adding fiber/prebiotic and probiotics? There is none in this product. Not all cats need it, but yours might benefit. Also try adding a little bit of warm water to the food right before feeding.
Bettina, the convention of commas and periods in decimals is different in Europe and America. This I also don't understand, but I know that 0.1 g is 1/10 of a gram in U.S. notation. :)
I do not know what a "reputable source for chicken" could possibly be at this point. Major growers are being exposed as irresponsible about biosecurity. Outdoor "pasture" or regenerative grazing flocks are at high risk because of their exposure to wild birds. Backyard flocks are at extremely...
