Hey Everyone,
My dog has been having diarreah that has been increasingly getting worse over the last few days.
I think this started after she ate another animal's poop on the road walking the other day, I don't think it was dog poop. We live in the canyons so we have a lot of other creatures, it could have been coyote, bear, raccoon, mountian lion, even bear.
I'm giving her all the good support she usually gets when this happens: Probiotics, high quality gut support remedy, bones to help firm up the stool. Nothing is working! She's otherwise acting fine and happy.

Please let me know your insights and suggestions
Thank you!

Hey Michele!

Have you fasted her?

What are her poops like (soft-form, pudding, water, mucus, blood, straining, urgency, odor, etc.)?

Have you tried any homeopathic medicines?

Hi yes I have been going her 2 Carbo Veg 200 c 2x/day today
i did a mild fast; a small marrow bone with raw keifer visbiome vet probiotic and montmorillinite clay for breakfast

1/2 of what she usually eats as an early dinner this afternoon

Her poop was mushy pudding-dark-watery-straining this afternoon wt a little med brown small more firm but still soft

She had a mellow relaxing day and a nice walk with our friends and their dogs after her dinner.
My friend told me that her dog had the same reaction from a neighbor that gave them treats- she’s been getting a lot of “junky” treats from people. I’ll be carrying my own treats to give to people that want to give her treats going forward.

She seems like her constitution is more balanced this eve, I took her out a few hours after she ate and she didn’t want to poop or pee. She’s not showing urgency and nervousness like last night, she’s gas asleep right now next to me.

Hoping for a non eventful evening🙏

Michele, when a dog is super balanced, they may have some diarrhea to cleanse an imbalance triggered by a problem and, as with her, still have great BEAM. Good for you to be patient, and be sure to enter the Carbv, etc, into her journal.

Maybe an ozone treatment since you have that, to start treating any problem.

Dr. Christina

Thanks, I did actually give her some ozone onset first day minimally, but because ozone runs hot it can sometimes cause diarrhea or looser stools.
Grateful we had a peaceful evening and great morning as well, feeling hopeful☺️
