I made the mistake of getting the dog vaccinated with Parvo at 2 months old due to the vet preaching about how he was so contagious. He is over 8 months old now and has not had a vaccination since then. I feed my dog mostly fresh pet chicken food and barkley's beef food (these are all frozen...
thank you so much! I gave him a turkey bone today and realized later that I should not have done that as his tail has been down most of the day and his appetite very poor. He finally ate some food later tonight, but ate more after I gave him some chicken and peas. he also went over to try and...
I did speak to the senior vet tech and they stated that inducing vomiting could cause more problems with the acorns coming up but I forgot why. Hence they also advised me to just watch him. Having a puppy that likes to eat anything and everything is clearly very stressful, particularly last...
I just spoke to one of the vet techs or the receptionist who talked to some of the vet techs and they stated I could watch him and bring him in if he continues to get worse. He did however, eat his food and he looks a little less uncomfortable now i.e. his tail is not down all the time now
he is only 8 pounds. When I went out there to look at the acorns on the front porch there were a lot that were cracked open but there were some large pieces of acorn left. I also realize many of those cracked acorns were related to squirrels. so I'm not sure he's eating the whole acorn or how...
No need to respond. I'm just going to watch him. I need to post more on the behavioral thread as this dog is eating everything that could be poisonous to him. And being the worry wort that I am --it gets stressful!
It's not the allieve, but the acorns that he has been eating in the yard. I just realized that acorns are not good for dogs. he ate quite a few of them today being that he was out there for a while. He is sluggish and his tail is down a lot. Not sure whether or not to go to the vet.
