Here some of Dr. Hahnemann's thoughts about the conventional practice of medicine.

Therefore disease (that does not come within the province of manual surgery) considered, as it is by the allopathists, as a thing separate from the living whole, from the organism and its animating vital force, and hidden in the interior, be it ever so subtle a character, is an absurdity, that could only be imagined by minds of a materialistic stamp, and has for thousands of years given to the prevailing system of medicine all those pernicious impulses that have made it a truly mischievous (non-healing) art.

This paragraph highlights a very important distinction between homeopathy and allopathic medicine.

Dr. H originally coined the term "allopath" partially to highlight this absurd (his word) distinction.

Does anyone know why George Washington would have agreed with the mischievous part (here's a clue--->)??‍♂️

Actually, I think he would have used a stronger word!

Washington was the most sickly president in history with a myriad of ailments. And despite having access to the "best" medical care, he did not improve markedly. Washington was treated with four rounds of bloodletting before his death. He succumbed to that last round and died.
