Hi
I was hoping for some suggestions for my 8 year old Lab.
She has two patches of missing hair on her back and scratching
eats Raw diet (honest kitchen base mix and raw meat)
She does swim in our saltwater pool daily
she will eat other dog poop if I dont watch her
no new medication or vaccinations
she did get heartworm pill june
seems normal other than itching and hair missing. Her energy is good, eats well.
any suggestions would be helpful
Thank you

Hi Courtney!

Is her BEAM 100% considering (especially subtle changes in behavior, appetite)?

Did the hair loss start before or after the heartworm pill?

About how often do you brush/comb her?

What does she love doing/eating more than anything else?

Perhaps then start playing the hunt for treats game and using the snuffle mat.

The hunt for treats game just involves your getting your pup all worked up and excited by having a handful of high value (super yummy) treats then throwing them in the grass for her to hunt out and scarf up.

Her happiness, hunting and breathing will help her body heal to fill in the thin hair spots.

At the same time support her body with daily brushing/stimulating hair regrowth and a fatty acid supplement like Ultra EFA:
