Dog Biscuit Recipe

Below is the recipe that Amy made yesterday.

Vanya loved her new biscuits!

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup organic pumpkin puree*
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds bloomed in 2 Tablespoons water (or one egg)
  • 1+ cup of gluten free flour mix**
  • 1/2 cup organic oats
  • 1/3 cup frozen wild blueberries
Instructions:
  • Combine puree with chia mixture and add 1 cup of flour to blend together
  • Mix until all dry ingredients are incorporated and it starts to stick together
  • Add the oats (and frozen berries) mix until it forms a ball and doesn't stick to bowl
  • Break off balls of dough 1” diameter uniform size for even bake
  • Using a piece of plastic wrap and bottom of glass press down until flat
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes on parchment paper until they are fully dry, the center should not be soft.
  • Check at 25 minutes. once they are dry turn off oven and let them cool in oven.

* Any fruit or vegetable puree works like bananas, apple sauce, carrots.

** You can use regular flour we are a gluten free household

Biscuit Baking Extravaganza was a huge success on 12/9/18. Members baked raspberry, blueberry, pumpkin and green bean gluten free biscuits with no recipe! Watch the videos to see how easy it use. If you want to use egg sub it for the flax/chia or use all 3.
